EventReporter 6.0 Beta 1 Released

EventReporter 6.0 Beta 1 is available for testing immediately. The new version comes with a newly designed enhanced
multi-threading background service (The same engine as Adiscon's known
MonitorWare Agent). It has a new powerfull Filter-Engine which allows you to
build very complex Filters like known from Microsoft Network Monitor. For more
details see below.
- New Powerfull Rulebased engine - You can know process as many
actions in rules as you want.
- New Actions - Flat File Logging, ODBC Database Logging, Start
external Programs, Net Send a message and other new Actions.
- Multiple EventlogMonitors - They are possible, but usually one
EventlogMonitors is enough.
- Multiple Rule Bases - each EventlogMonitor instance can have a specific rule base assigned.
And each Rulebase can have multiple Rules with multiple actions.
- Large Burst Support - EventReporter has a unique high performance engine that guarantees message buffering during even the most extreme burst traffic.
- Scaleable Filterengine - The new filter engine as very powerful,
you can build complex filter conditions like known from Microsoft
Network Monitor.

What is missing at the moment? As this is the initial beta version,
the new manual is currently missing. But if you know our WinSyslog,
you will have no problem configuring the new EventReporter.
How about Updating from 5.x version? Currently there is no upgrade
function in the new version (Will be added later). So your old settings are not
imported into the new version yet. So I recommend to try the new version on a
test machine first.
Do I need a new license Key? Yes you do. If you have UpgradeInsurance,
contact sales@adiscon.com with your UI-ID
and you will get a new key by email.
