WinSyslog 10.0 Released

Adiscon is proud to announce the 10.0 release of WinSyslog. This is a major release including new features and minor bug fixes. The most important enhancement is that Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 are now fully supported.

But, of course, there are other enhancements as well, for example this version now supports even more complex configurations by adding support for IP multicast. This can be used as a tool both to reduce bandwidth as well as provide a more secure setup, where the actual listening machines are well-hidden. bulletproof, permitting it to handle client aborts quicker than ever. On the database backend side, the new version offers even more flexibility, when it comes to selecting how (empty) strings are stored to the database.

And, last but not least, there is a much enhanced analysis front-end included which offers a wide variety of new options and capabilities.

Version 10.0 is a free download. Customers with existing 9.x keys can contact our Sales department for upgrade prices.
