Event 151 Generic / catch-all Generic

Runtime Error (Event 151)

A runtime error occurred. The event message includes a detail string (shown where the product inserts runtime information) that often points to the failing component.

What to check

  • Copy the full detail string from the event message into your support ticket.
  • Open Windows Event Viewer and read the complete event message (including any text below the summary line).
  • Note the product name, version, and build shown in the application or service properties.
  • Record the exact time the event occurred and what changed on the system shortly before it.
  • Export or save your product configuration file before making further changes.
  • If the problem persists, open a support ticket at https://ticket.adiscon.com/ and include Event ID, full event text, and configuration.
