EventReporter 18.4 Released

Adiscon is proud to announce the 18.4 release of EventReporter.

We’ve dedicated this release to enhancing both security and performance, reinforcing our commitment to providing a high-standard product. We’ve made crucial updates to the Syslog Action to bolster reliability. A rare issue which caused attempts to simultaneously open TCP connections to the same target multiple times has been resolved, and we’ve improved error handling when a connection fails with Syslog Caching enabled. The system now ensures correct retrying of the primary server after syslog caching is activated.

Alongside, we’ve resolved an issue with EventLog Monitor V2’s XML-Stream Processing, enhancing the processing of EventLog Messages. We’ve also fine-tuned the handling of server multiline replies within the Send Email feature, ensuring the additional protocol data is detected correctly to avoid any failure of the Action.

Improvements have been made to the LogRotate feature to provide more accurate error reporting in case of licensing restrictions. Lastly, we’ve boosted stability in the Network Core when closing connections.

As always, we appreciate your continuous support and are dedicated to ensuring the EventReporter remains your go-to solution for all reporting needs.
